Sugar Land Prep families may pay tuition in full or take advantage of our monthly plans.
$175 non-refundable application fee is due with submission of student application.
Due upon acceptance (with submission of enrollment forms) annual, non-refundable fee enrollment Fee – $895.
Diagnostic fee – $175.
Register before March 29, 2018, to lock in these 2017-2018 fees.
$1469.00 monthly tuition – beginning September 1, 2018 and ending May 30, 2019. (9 months) ($20 monthly sibling discounts are available) Tuition is due on the first day of each calendar month during the school year and will be considered delinquent on the tenth of the month. A late fee of $20.00 will be assessed for each late payment. Tuition does not include students’ personal laptops and meals.
Please review Sugar Land Prep’s payment policies below. The Enrollment Form quotes total tuition for the academic school year showing the starting and ending dates. Tuition is based on a ten month school year. We require a thirty school day (school day means academic day) advance written notice if you choose to remove your child from school before the academic school year is completed.
If payment is not made by four weeks after the due date, the student(s) may be removed from their classes until accounts are made current.
Refund Policy – Only the first month’s tuition is refundable. Subsequent months’ tuition is non-refundable. The monthly tuition agreement is for 10 payments as indicated above for the academic year starting September of the year entering to May of the subsequent year. Students who withdraw prior to the ending date are subject to an early withdrawal penalty of $895 (includes NEW College Prep curriculum) per month, per student, from the time of the last monthly payment until the next May 27th. Tuition Payments are due on the first of the month or on the date established by the tuition processing company. Tuition payments are considered late the 10th day after the due date. A late fee of $20 per day is assessed for late payments. Tuition payments more than 30 days late are subject for the student’s dis-enrollment. Student records and transcripts will not be released until all financial matters are resolved.
For purposes of this contract with Sugar Land Preparatory Academy, the signing parties agree that they may withdraw from such contract at any time by following the procedures set out above, subject to the penalties regarding tuition. Sugar Land Preparatory Academy, through its representative, Carol Appelbaum may withdraw from this contract at any time for “good cause” by notifying the above individuals in writing at the last known address. Examples of “good cause”, although not exclusive, may include failure to cooperate, a breakdown in communication, discipline issues, cheating, failure to uphold your financial commitment, etc.
The application fee(s), Diagnostic test fee(s), enrollment fee(s) and monthly tuition are all that is necessary. There will not be any other required fees.
